H. H. GURUDEV AKHILJI MAHARAJ
Gurudev Shri Akhilji Maharaj is a well known authority in Hindu scriptures such as Shrimad Bhagwat, Shri Ramcharit Manas (Tulsi Ramayan), Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta and other Hindu scriptures. He delivers spiritual discourses in pure, authentic Hindi language. His discourses are equally appealing to intellectuals as well as to those seeking God predominantly by path of devotion. His melodious bhajans are full of devotion and love for God.
Maharaj ji was born in 1961 in a highly cultured, honorable, Brahmin family. His grandfather and father also have command on Sanskrit language and Hindu scriptures. Akhilji Maharaj is not only proficient in spiritual field but has also achieved Ph. D. in international history from Allahabad University. Akhilji Maharaj is the founder of Akhil Bhakti Yoga Foundation, Vrindavan, India, also registered in U.S.A. He undoubtedly believes that total faith in The Lord is a must to attend bliss and peace in life. Akhilji Maharaj has been delivering spiritual discourses on Shrimad Bhagwat, Tulsi Ramayana and Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta for last 20 years all over India, US, Canada, New Zeland, Fiji and Australia. Maharaj ji’s discourses are not only full of devotion and Love for the God but also reflect and provide simplification of deep plilosophy hidden in sriptures. By making use of the knowledge we can make this life much more fruitful and Beautiful. In his discourses we will find a unique and beautiful blend of Bhaktiyoga, Gyanyoga and Karmayoga. Equally beautiful is his way of blending Shri Ramkatha from Tretayuga with Shri Krisna Lila from Dwaparyuga. Thus leaving no doubts in our mind that Shri Rama and Shri Krishna are both Vishnu Avatara being born in different times. Maharaj ji has the unique capability of answering queries of modern inquisitive mind and establish faith and trust for supreme Lord in the minds of young and old alike. Discourses on Shrimad Bhagwat and Shri Ram Charit Manas (Ramayan) are held on weekly basis, generally starting on Sunday and ending on Saturday. Presently Maharaj ji is residing in Vrindavan, India. He started learning Sanskrit when he was only five years old. Maharaj ji started delivering Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Shriram Katha and Geeta satsang at very early age. Maharaj ji believes that Spiritial Sadhna is the highest goal of human life and this goal can be achieved only in the human form. Human body is meant both to suffer as well as enjoy (bhogadeha). However, one has to realize that the goal of human life is much more than accumulating wealth and raising a family. If we observe nature closely we see that animals, birds, even tiny insects do their duties sincerely, artistically and probably at times better than human beings. If we say that human life is the highest form of life on this earth, then the purpose of our life also has to be highest of all beings.

It is said that satsang (company of noble souls) is made available to us only in human life. It is not available even to the Demi Gods in the heaven. When our Punya Karma (good deeds) are in a positive balance, we are sent to enjoy heavenly luxuries. As these punyakarmas are exhausted, we are sent back to earth. “Kshine punye Martyaloka vishantye”. Similarly we enjoy joys of worldly life for our punya and sorrows in life for our pap (sins). Pap and Punya have to be paid off separately. Pap and punya don’t cancel out! Maharaj ji has tremendous faith and dedication towards the teachings of various Hindu Scriptures especially Shrimad Bhagwat, Shri Ramcharit Manas and Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta.
Acharyaji is blessed with a melodious and divine voice. His bhajans are full of devotion and love of Almighty.
